Why we started

Renting a car had become an exercise in patience. Queues, upsell scripts, a car that bears no resemblance to the photo, and a final bill assembled from fees nobody mentioned.

We started Velora in 2019 with one rule: the price you see first is the price you pay.

How we are different

• Every car is photographed as it is. No stock imagery, no "or similar".
• One rate, itemised. Insurance, extras and taxes are shown before you commit, not after.
• Unlimited mileage on everything. No per-mile creep, no geographic surcharge.
• Deposits released in days, not weeks.

The fleet

We run a deliberately small fleet — around eighty cars across five California and Nevada locations — because we service them ourselves. Every car goes through a 42-point check between rentals, and anything over 60,000 miles leaves the fleet.

Getting in touch

Our team answers messages seven days a week. If something goes wrong mid-trip, you reach a person, not a queue.
